Click on the "Untitled track" text to name your song.

Your track is automatically saved whenever you make a change, which is indicated by the icon. Manual saving is not required.

Click here to toggle advanced controls.

Click on the dropdown menu to select an appropriate style of music for your backing track (e.g. 'latin jazz').

Set the number of bars and the tempo of your track here. For example, type '4' and press ENTER.

Tempo ranges:
40 - 100: slow
100 - 200: moderate
200 - 380: fast

Click on the first bar to reveal empty slots, labelled by numbers.
Each slot represents a beat in the current bar.
Click on the first slot of the first bar and type in a chord (e.g. Bbmaj7) and press ENTER to confirm.

Click on the first slot of the second bar and type in a chord (e.g. G7) and press ENTER to confirm.


Click on the first slot of the third bar and type in a chord (e.g. Cm7) and press ENTER to confirm.

Click on the first slot of the fourth bar and type in a chord (e.g. F7) and press ENTER to confirm.

Clicking on a bar also activates the marker tool, which enables you to enumerate different sections of your track by selecting a specific number/colour.

Listen to your backing track and practice along by clicking the play button.
